Our Leadership

 

Kat Wheels (she/her/hers), ASW High Priestess, Coven of the Silver Scales  

 

Kat embarked on this path as a solitary practitioner, and after many, many books, conversations, and searching, discovered the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel tradition in 2009. She joined the founding coven, Keepers of the Holly Chalice in 2011. It was during her work in this first chalice coven, with an amazing group of teachers, that she discovered her love of Qabala and deeper magickal studies. 

 

In 2012, as another chalice coven formed, Kat moved to Grail of the Birch Moon, as a founding member and future initiate. In Grail, Kat explored ritual development, class creation, ritual committee leadership, Reiki, Tarot, Runes, psychic development, and many other magickal skill. In this second chalice coven, Kat was initiated as a 3rd degree High Priestess in the tradition.

 

On the next leg of her journey, Kat will lead the 8th coven in the Assembly, Coven of the Silver Scales (forming in 2026). In her third chalice coven (may have a thing for chalices?), Kat pulls together her love of learning and continued focus on different modalities of healing to create a new forum to experience magick and re-enchant herself and others.

 

Kat has taught classes on a variety of subjects, including energy management, wiccan essentials, casting techniques, ritual construction, and runes for healing, to name a few. She has presented at Spring Magick, Sacred Space, and Sassy.con (in Spring 2026). Kat is also a Reiki Master, offers Reiki healing sessions, and teaches Reiki I, Reiki II, Advanced Reiki, and Reiki Master classes.
